WHAT IS MANUAL LYMPH DRAINAGE:
Manual lymph drainage (MLD) is a technique of repetitive soft massaging on the skin
that accelerates or redirects the superficial lymphatic circulation and accelerates the
reabsorption of edema.

Why use manual lymphatic drainage after COSMETIC SURGERY?
Manual lymph drainage is very important in the treatment and care after cosmetic surgery. It improves tissue healing, eliminates or decreases postoperative discomfort and speeds recovery.

After liposuction: it is essential for the reabsorption of edema. Its proper use in
several weeks reduces total recovery time.

After Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) : this is the intervention where most damage occurs in the lymphatic system, so it is essential to receive proper postoperative treatment. Manual lymph drainage helps to redirect the lymphatic circulation to alternative drainage routes not damaged by the surgery and reduce swelling or inflammation of the abdomen.

After breast augmentation the MLD decreases inflammation of the breast, reducing discomfort, after face lifting, lymphatic drainage accelerates the reabsorption of edema, so the swelling should be less, as well as faster recovery time.

OTHER REASONS TO USE MLD:

1) in the treatment of scars, MLD is the first step taken to promote healing.
2) Edema accumulation during pregnancy.
3) Orange peel” or cellulitis: cellulite is accompanied by fluid retention. Can be combined with: LPG, mesotherapy, and other massage techniques
4) slimming or detox.
